Follow our trails and find in them an incredible variety of birds, mammals, plants and insects.

We have different options some of them include a naturalist guide to give you important information about, nature, ecology and behavior of the habitants of our forest.

 

 A baby Coati looks curiously at the camera, they forage the forest in large packs of highly social individuals.  The santuario provides wild animals a place to breed and live without the dangers of illegal poaching and hunting.

Natural history walk

A tour that spans over two hours , can be anywhere between 7am to 2pm .

You will walk in our property finding wild animals with the help of our local naturalist guide .

Monkeys, Coatis and Agoutis are common sights in our walks

 A mottled Owl (Ciccaba virgata) perched in a branch during our night walk. Often times we hear them hooting in the darnkness that night we were lucky enough to see it.

Join our naturalist guide in a experience that will change your perspective .

Nature really blooms after the sun sets, a plethora of insects , arachnids and reptiles come out to seek food and socialize.

Also there is chance to see rare mammals that are nocturnal like kinkajous, ocelots, porcupines and olingos.

Walk by yourself in our trails or sit down on our benches and overlooks to feel and breathe pure air .

we recommend looking closely at details and being quiet so animals dont run away.

Trails are open from 7:00am to 5:00pm
